  • Miami-Dade MPO InteracTIP Application

    • Re-created the Transportation Improvement Program online version implementing the Google Map. Click here to see the working demo.

• ArcMap

  • Concurrency Management System (CGCMS) for the City of Coral Gables

    • Re-wrote the whole application from ArcView 3 to the new ArcMap 9.1
      version in VBA. Also, re-structured the system from DBF files to use a
      GeoDatabase.

  • Building Permits for Public Works in Aruba

    • Created an ArcMap 9.1 application to interact with a building permit
      application in MS Access. The objective of the project was to be able to
      select a parcel on the ArcMap application and link that parcel with an
      existing building permit on the MS Access database and vice versa. So,
      with this application the client was able to enter a new building permit
      from their original MS Access application interface and then assign the
      parcel with the new ArcMap application. At the same time, they were able
      to select a parcel from the Map and open their building permit application
      in MS Access to the corresponding record. On the ArcMap application
      everything was done by creating custom buttons and forms, so the user
      was able to use the application without having to learn much of ArcMap
      9.1.

  • Road Signs for Public Works in Aruba

    • Implemented an ArcMap 9.1 application to maintain road signs. The
      objective of this project was to create a database to schedule maintenance
      jobs for the road signs. The user was able to select a road sign on the map
      and schedule a job for it. Therefore, the workers could print a list of jobs
      due for today or for the week. On the ArcMap application everything was
      done by creating custom buttons and forms, so the user was able to use the
      application without having to learn much of ArcMap 9.1.

• ArcIMS

  • Label System for the City of Coral Gables

    • Implemented ArcIMS with ASP to create a system were the user was able
      to select parcels by a particular radius or a polygon and then download a
      MS Word file with the labels ready to print for a mailing list.

  • Map Viewer for the City of Hollywood

    • Implemented ArcIMS with ASP to create a web application to view the
      parcel information by clicking on the map.
